Great writings here. I have been on lithium 1200mg since 98. I want to get off eventually. I have never tried something else, but I am having a difficulty with swallowing most anything these days. I would really like to know is there ever a chance that we could possibly be free of meds?

I can't tolerate SSRI's like Prozac. Have you had problems with them, or do you think the lithium tempers the effects on your highs?
My problem is that my mania is controlled, but my depression seeps through.
