Life is a Journey...

I've climbed mountains and walked through valleys in my lifetime. Some days are good, some days are bad. Faith in my own strength keeps me going and the love of my family. I welcome you to my journey.

A Funeral

I attended my grandfather's funeral this weekend. It was an emotional task, but one I was glad to have undertaken. My grandfather didn't look like himself, lying there in that casket. It was not him. His soul had already passed. He looked like a shell of a man. I hope that his spirit has passed peacefully.

I saw all types of relatives at the funeral including my brother. We had a chance to talk and now all is forgiven. It's not exactly like old times yet, but we now have a chance at making it better. I'm going to my nephew's birthday this weekend.

Sorry this is so short, but I'm exhausted from the trip...

    I'm sorry about your grandfather.

My stepfather died a couple of months ago and it meant seeing my brother at the funeral for the first time in around 9 years. Didn't go too well.

I hope you and your brother have better luck.

    Best Wishes,
    Zathyn
