Letters to Dad

I received a package in the mail from my stepmother. It contained some old letters and cards that my father kept throughout the years. I was surprised that my father was so sentimental and kept them.
Here's a portion of a card that I wrote him when for one Father's Day:
Dad, It's been a long time since I've told you how much I love you. Dad, if the world should fall and everyone died but me, you would be the person I cried for the most. I'd feel so lost without the father who gave me so much strength, without the father I could depend on the most. You are my world, Dad. You were always there for me: to cry on your shoulder, to laugh with, to feel my pain as though it were your own. Through the years we've grown more and more apart, but I've never stopped loving you as much as when I was a little girl. The memories you've given me are so precious, so priceless. I hope that you will always be my world, Daddy, as I will always be your little girl. I love you, Daddy. Love, Mija
